Yesterday I set some goals.
1] I will make an effort to get in better shape.
2] I will make an effort to eat better.
3] I will get my weight under my adult best of 200 by the end of September (that one might be hard standing at 212 today).
What finally got me going? If you follow my twitter this is what I wrote last night “Eating chips & salsa (dinner) WIFE “whatcha reading” ME “book on exercise” WIFE fits of laughter ME heading to gym 1st time in 6+ months”
Hopefully I am not writing the same post this time next year…

Now you got me thinking about the same goals. I can’t seem to get both exercise and eating healthy going at the same time. It’s like my mind and body can only do one at a time. But you’ve got me motivated now.
Ha! I was eating chips and salsa as I read that and I felt a little guilty as I looked down into my nearly empty cup of salsa.
I think my new goal will be to exercise enough that I won’t feel guilty eating chips and salsa every night.
